Yenisey Documentary to be Aired TONIGHT (10.30pm 18/12/03)!
In 2001 Tim joined an expedition with three others to row and raft the entire length of the Yenisey river, 5500km through Siberia to the Arctic Ocean. On Lake Baikal they found an old wooden dory, repaired it, built a cabin, and set off on a rigorous 24 hour rowing schedule to reach the Arctic Coast before it froze over. On the Siberian leg Tim was director of documenting the experience, and the footage was later purchased by National Geographic. If you have cable in Australia or New Zealand, be sure to tune into National Geographic tonight at 10.30pm (the 18th of December) or check your guides for future screenings. < Click hereto find out more about the experience.
